Happy Easter - He is Risen

David, Asher and I went to first service Easter morning and enjoyed the wonderful Easter Service from outside with Asher. Our church doesn't have Nursery childcare at first service, so if we want to go into church, we have to go to 2nd or 3rd service to be able to put Asher in the Nursery. Here are a couple of family pictures from that day. A little late but so is life these days. We are definitely operating on 'Perea Time' these days. For those of you who don't know the phrase 'Perea Time' let me explain. Sometime after David and I were engaged to be married, the phrase was very prominent in our lives. For example, at the time, one of my soon to be sister in laws had only one job for the wedding and that was to get the Perea klan to the church on time. After David and I were married it was my explanation to my family as to why we were always late. David by the way hates to be late. But his son followed suit with Perea time by being 1 1/2 weeks late on delivery and I am sure will continue in the years to come to live up to his splendid Perea name. I have come to appreciate Perea time, as the Lord knew I needed to slow down. Perea time has taught me to slow down and not be in such a rush. I don't always hold to what I have learned, but try to...
