6 MONTHS OLD

Yep, already, Isaac is 6 months old today. He doesn't have any teeth and doesn't seem to have any in the works. His drool has picked up recently, so maybe soon. He is rolling over and sitting up pretty proficiently. He has finally mastered rice cereal...it took him some time. We have been trying for the past month or two, I would try it once a week, but he just wasn't ready. About 2 weeks ago, he got it. He likes it too. For all those moms who said it would help his sleeping, I am sorry to say, not really, but hopefully soon. He has cereal 3 times a day and today we started peas. New foods are just for the parent enjoyment really, aren't they. We get such a laugh out of the faces they make and my boys do this little shiver, cracks us up! Any way here are some pics, plus the 6 month pic and the Asher comparison. Isaac is definitely longer now for sure, he has long been out of the 12 months clothes that Asher wore past 6 months old.

This is Asher at 6 months old...funny how 6 month old babies seem to love their toes, of course Asher is 20 months and still loves his toes and by the way can still put them in his mouth!

Asher, our little cheese monster had to be on the photo shoot too!

Here are some peas pictures.

Sitting up in his pack-n-play...I realized after I took this first pic that the big smile was hidden...I love how his smile creeps out the sides of the paci.

More of the Ice Man

Here are some more pics of Isaac rolling over and stuff.

He was jumping the other night while chewing on his hands and when I went to take him out, I noticed a puddle in the front tray.
I don't if you can see the glistening...but it is an actual puddle of drool, nice, huh?

Needless to say the last nap in the swing, he is just getting too big, so naps are now always in the pack-n-play.

YAY! HE DID IT!

So Isaac rolled over just a couple hours ago. He has 'almost' rolled over for about a week now. Spent a lot of time on his side, but today HE DID IT! So proud of that boy. He beat his brother in this feat by 6 days, Asher rolled 9 days before 6 months old and Isaac 16 days. Watch out brother...he'll be chasing you very soon, I am sure!

Birthday and Stuff

So it has been busy and sleep deprived around here so I haven't posted any pics for a while. Here are some pics from David's b-day and enjoying the beautiful weather lately.
One of David's favorite cakes...Texas Sheet Cake for his actual birthday day. He had to work, so we had to make it special for him when he got home! Asher helped blow out the candles.

Asher helping Momma make Daddy's special birthday cake, which I might have to say turned out fabulous (it was all the extra ingredient we put in I know).

That Saturday we had family over to celebrate.

Grandpa with Isaac

David opening presents and cards with a little help of course!

Dark Chocolate Cake, Dark Chocolate mouse with Dark Chocolate Frosting, OH MY!!
Asher can hear and spot an airplane before any of us, it is so cute, reminiscent of the little guy on the show with Mr. Rork, ha, ha.
Showing off his new 'CARS' ball. The boy watched the movie once and can point out anything cars anywhere. Cracks us up. He just walked up to the desk as I was typing and all he is saying is cars, cars, cars.
Playing with our new ball at the park.
This is Asher's typical speed...running. I was trying to get a pic of his new PJs...besides Cars, he loves Elmo, can even sing the la, la, la tune from Sesame Street. He's had the Elmo slippers since the first of the year, which he wears all the time.

Going down the slide all by himself. He did it several more times, despite the look on his face in this pic.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE WORLD'S BEST HUBBY AND DADDY

Happy Birthday David! I hope you have a fabulous day - you deserve it! There are so many reasons I thank God today (everyday for that matter), but today especially for blessing the world with you! I love you - you are my rock, my gentle giant, my comedian, my cartoon romantic and especially my lover. You are so special to me and now to our boys...we can't ever imagine life without you. Thank you for being such a wonderful husband and great daddy! We love you!
