5 MONTHS OLD

So Isaac is 5 months old now and is just growing like a weed. We put him in the same outfit that Asher wore at 5 months and it was a very tight fit as are all the 12 months clothes that Asher wore until 6 months old. I was able to scrounge up a couple of 18 month outfits to get us through the rest of summer, so that is good. Isaac is still working very hard at rolling over, even when he is sleeping, he works on it, gets mad and frustrated and wakes us up. We all be happy to reach that milestone! He has been really enjoying the activity saucer friends let us borrow, but has recently found much fun in the jumper that Asher used and the door jumper that is now on its 6 baby use. Isaac has tons of fun in the door jumper, more that Asher ever did - I am sure it helps that big brother helps the bouncing and swinging along. They laugh and laugh together when Isaac is in it - just warms my soul! Isaac is changing too...his new hair that is coming in appears to be lighter than the hair he had at birth, maybe we'll have to blondies after all at least for a little bit. His eyes are still dark, but could go hazel.

Look how much bigger Isaac is than Asher...you can real tell by looking at them compared to Enzo. Isaac is almost a whole head length above Enzo.

Stats and Stuff

So I was suppose to post Isaac's stats almost two weeks ago...WELL, life happened and continues to happen. I don't spend much time on the computer and then our home computer was infected with a virus, so I was using David's work laptop which doesn't have all our pictures and stuff. So, I am just now getting around to it. He weighed 18 lbs. 14 oz. and was 26 1/4 inches long. Asher was 26 1/2 inches and 17 lbs 3 oz. But since Isaac's check up he has been having quite a bit of trouble eating. So, his weight has dropped some, BUT I am happy to report, this morning he ate great, so the remedy I have been giving him seems to be working. Since he hasn't been eating well, he also hasn't been sleeping well, so life has been a bit overwhelming, but he is taking the first good morning nap in a couple of weeks as I am typing (one reason I haven't been able to be on the computer for longer than 2 minutes). We still try to get out of the house with Asher so here are some pictures from our beach day. The weather was beautiful and we had lots of fun.

The Ice Man chillin' in the wagon on his bouncy seat.

Our cheesey boy!

What a day, he is totally asleep in these 2 pics, David went in and took his hand off the crib.

He is using Gerry the Giraffe for a pillow, too cute!

These pics are of the boys playing together. It is just wonderful to hear the giggles from them...when things get real quiet, I go running.

Hey Shannah, does the pillow pic bring back any memories for ya?
