THREE MONTHS OLD

I have been busy this morning and didn't realize that today Isaac is 3 months old. I don't know what made me realize it, but I grabbed some shots before nap time. It was just me, so I couldn't get any pics without his hands in his mouth. I would lean over and take them out, he would smile and giggle but as soon as I was standing to snap the shot, he'd have them right back in again. So, these are the best I could do by myself.
This top picture is just for you Mitchell...Isaac is partial to 2 fingers in his mouth!

This is Asher at 3 months, apparently I had the same hand in the mouth problem with him too, funny.

I know a lot of you say they look a like, but Isaac is just so much darker that I don't see it as much as others do. Isaac's skin is darker and so are his eyes and hair. He just looks like a Perea to me. It is so fun to see the comparison month by month. He is growing fast - he is quickly out growing the 6-9 month clothes and heading toward 12 months. Goodness - I am a little worried about the clothes I have from Asher and how we will fair toward the end of summer and the beginning of Fall/winter. Since stores around here won't have any shorts to speak of in another month or 6 weeks, I may be in big trouble trying to dress this one. I better have David get the next box of clothes down from our attic.

Beach Outing
Today we went to the beach with Auntie Donna. It was overcast and cold, but we still had lots of fun. The water was warm and lots of fun. Asher kept saying, more, more and one, two, three go and run into the water. We had lots of fun playing in the sand too. Isaac did great - hung out in the bouncy and even took a little nap too. We will definitely be going back very soon. Here are some pics from the day.

Isaac Sits Up
Friends of ours lent us this Bumbo chair and wow is it fun. Thanks Armstrongs! Isaac will be 3 months old in a few days and is doing great. He has been sitting up on the couch and bed for a week or so now. I remembered the other day about the Bumbo chair. He just loves it. He can sit up and see everything around him. It makes me laugh how he will follow his brother around a room with his head and eyes. I think of times to come when Isaac will be following his brother around with more than just his eyes.

This is a picture from Thursday night. Wednesday and Thursday have been our weekends this month. This last Wednesday we went to the Del Mar Fair and Thursday we had Caiden and Heather over to play and then off to Papa's and Granny's to play. Needless to say, Asher was a little tuckered out. He is fast asleep in this picture.

THANK YOU PAPA AND MEMA
We were given tickets to the Del Mar Fair from Papa and Mema. What a treat! I was little nervous going with such small kids, but we took extra help with us and had a total blast. Granny went with us and our friends' 2 girls, Kailee and Emilee went with us too. We went through a couple of the exhibit halls and then headed to the agi section and then on to kiddie land. Asher loved all the animals, he kept doing their sounds, moo, baa, etc. We saw lots of bunnies, some huge cows, well David said they were just normal size, I just hadn't seen a cow so close, but the pigs, they were definitely HUGE...David was impressed with their size. Asher went to the petting zoo and then got to ride a pony.

This was the first ride he rode...had to test the waters with a little slow ride, moved up rather quickly.

This next picture was of Asher on the ride he liked the most, that is actually a fun face smile. He liked it so much he threw a little fit and cried when he had to get off. It went up and down where it tickles your tummy.
Daddy and Asher on the roller coaster. David said he loved it, laughed the whole time.
This was a little off road buggy, too cute.
Here he is steering the wheel of a big rig. So serious!

Heres our little trooper! He did great! He loves sitting in the front pack just like his brother did, looking around at everything.
He has recently found his hands and fingers. He looks at them and eats them all the time.
The weather was perfect for our little 'Ice Man' the sun was out, but not too hot and a great ocean breeze!

Thanks again Papa and Mema for all the fun we had and thanks to Granny and the girls for all their help!
FATHER'S DAY
So, we were still all getting over colds the week of Father's Day, but we made the best of the day for Daddy! As he put it...very overwhelmed with just how blessed he felt. Here are some pics from his dinner...sushi of course. Asher loves using chop sticks!

SWAGGER WAGON

Daddy's Day is coming soon...
So we are leading up to Father's Day and the last 2 nights David has enjoyed one of his most favorite meals...Fish Sticks and Tator Tots complete with tartar sauce. So funny, he remembers having this meal many times as a kid typically they had vegetable medley(which had lima beans in it - yuck!) which he also loved. We skipped the veggie medley though. Saturday night he gets Brauts with sauteed onions, German potato salad and broccoli salad and for Sunday he has opted for Sushi, surprise, surprise. I am posting this video for him too, he saw it for the first time a few weeks ago on our friend's blog and just loves it. He requested I play it again tonight before heading upstairs for bathes. Even before we saw this video, he commented on just how great the new model Sienna is and how he would want one. Just love that husband of mine - so GREAT in oh so many ways!!

We Heart Golden Spoon
Thursdays are double stamp days at golden spoon which is one of favorite places. The Temecula mailers always have coupons too. So tonight David ran out after dinner to pick up a treat for us. Asher cracks us up all the time. Tonight I let him be down running around while I fed him bites of yogurt when he came over for them. Here are some pictures of his silliness. He would start from wherever he was and walk or run all the way to me with his mouth wide open.

Here he is after finishing a bite, so pleased!

Here he is after his last bite! Notice the yogurt mustache

ISAAC'S STATS
David reminded me this morning that I was going to post Isaac's stats from his 2 month doctor check up...so here they are:
Weight - 14 lbs 3 oz
Height - 24 1/2 inches
So far he is still heavier than Asher was and has passed Asher in length too which we were a little surprised about since Isaac was shorter than Asher at birth. Isaac is in 6 month short outfits and 6-9 month sleep-n-plays. He is just a growing little guy. He smiles a lot like Asher, but Isaac has the best little giggle already. I have tried to record it, but no luck yet. I will keep trying and when I get it, I will post it here for you all to hear.
